31. Upgrade of Main Code or Boot Code
Using a Serial Cable
This approach can only be used with FFS files.
To use it, you need a suitable cable and the Intermate Down-
load Utility Program (p16-xxxx).
31.1. The Cable
Files are downloaded via an RJ45-DB9upgrade cable
(described in the Product Overview) to the serial I/O port (con-
sole port) built in to the LAN connector on the Intermate1xx.
If you want to use this possibility, but don’t want to buy our
cable, you can make one using the specifications below.
